The all female Japanese band TsuShiMaMiRe did an excellent job of waking up the crowd before Peelander-Z performed. The band recently released their second full-length album titled Sex on the Beach and on this night in El Paso, TX, while on their Sex on the Beach Tour, they made sure to give their audience an earful of their new tracks.

TsuShiMaMiRe was formed in 1999 when the ex-elementary teacher Mari, law and economy studies graduate Yayoi, and ex-high school music teacher Mizue joined forces.

Mari’s exciting lyrics and vocals over Yayoi’s strong bassline and Mizue’s awesome drum beats made it difficult to keep from dancing along to the band’s punk rock sound.

This Japanese punk rock band gave an impressive performance especially with Yayoi’s high-kicking bass, Marie’s strong guitar skills, and Mizue’s powerful drums. TsuShiMaMiRe is an extremely high energy performing band that shouldn’t be missed.

Their North American tour included twenty shows that kicked off on October 27, 2010, in San Jose, CA, and drew to a close in Boston, MA on November 21, 2010.  The band posts tour updates, photos, and video links of their shows on their Facebook Fan Page and MySpace Page. ♫♫

Rockin' out.
